Pure Purple is a footwear and accessories brand based out of Nairobi Kenya. We are passionate about premium value addition on local leather, sustainability, scale-ability and community impact. 

We first started out on an import and retail model and have transitioned that to a more prominent manufacture local model in response to solve for the statistic that leather is one of the most globally traded commodities and Africa holds a 20% share of this. This share that Africa holds in natural resource is sufficient to transformatively impact her economies however she continues to be plagued by low consumption. 

We envision a future with better wages, fair working conditions, more women in leadership and skilled technical roles in manufacture, wealth creation across our value chain from end to end with a far richer and more robust creative economy first in Kenya and then in Africa. 

We know it’s David and Goliath but we are here for it.
